Everything in this costume is made from scratch. The jacket is a nice suiting tulle. The tie is two cottons stitched together to make the strips. The patch was made by me in photoshop and a vector program and printed by a work friend through her embroidery machine. The skirt was made from a cotton spandex blend, which made it hard to pleat, but the color was so great. The socks were altered for the perfect height. The book is an HP Lovecraft book that I altered using foam, glue and a leather-look suede.

I loved the artwork for Book of Memories before the game even came out. I also wanted to be supportive of the team putting it together (because the Silent Hill fanbase can be pretty negative to trying new things). In the process of making this costume I learned so much. My first pleated skirt. First tie from scratch. First time making a patch design. I also met some amazing people via making this costume. So even if I do get accused of cosplaying from the "Scooby Doo" Silent Hill, I could care less. A wonderful experience over all to celebrate what turned out to be a fun story driven game.
