The skirt was a massive pattern to design. The skirt has a custom hoop skirt. I bought lace on Etsy, then I painted/dyed it to the color I wanted. I then got to attach the lace onto the skirt edge. The edge has horsehair in the edge and was tacked to reinforce the waves at the bottom. The sleeves are the same taffeta as the skirt with a cream material as the lining. The openings were cut out as circles and then top-stitched for reinforcement. The top has a heavier cream fabric on it inside, lighter cream in the middle and a light cream sheer material over top. The stars were sewn in to the middle layer. It attaches with elastic. The corset is a mixture of velvet, taffeta, two types of cream fabric and is fully lined with boning and laces up the back. All the lace is sewn on and the pearls were hand sewn. The structure underneath the corset are small panniers with coque feathers. The jester tails were small squares sewn together to create the pattern and then backed with a brown fabric. Those were then attached to the panniers. That hat was made with buckram and was covered in two cream fabrics and the taffeta. The lace was sewn on and the there is wire to help support the brim.
