This outfit comes from the cover of volume 5 of the manga. I worked on this outfit for months, just focusing on it piece by piece. The ruffle at the bottom of the skirt was 60 feet that needed to be sewn together, painted, and then gathered to 40 feet to attach to the skirt. I hand painted the umbrella and hair pieces and also the ruffles of the shirt and bustle. The hat I bought but had to recover it before I could attach the ribbon. For this costume I ended up using almost 40 plus yards of fabric. I love this cosplay and I love how it turned out!!!! X3 |
