I started this costume back in 2011 before the game came out. I went to Jo Ann's with just the concept art and bought all the fabric. I didn't begin building the costume until January 2012 and didn't finish until March of 2013. We altered a simplicity pattern, used suede for the belt, I made the belt buckle out of nickel in a metals class, the gold belt out of christmas ornaments, I hand sewed the gold ribbon onto it and my favorite parts were the wig, the tabbard and the sail.
