Made and worn for Senshi-Con 2013. Also worn for Alaska Gaming Convention 2014 and won 1st Place in the Cosplay Contest.
I fell in love with her character design the summer it came out in 2013 and I had no other cosplay plans I was dying to make so bam.
Mask was drafted, and hand cut from foam, glued together, painted, and had the details painted on. Torso was drafted and sewed. I am proud of the bias tape detailing on the front. Shirt was made too small, pants were made too big. lmao. Shoulder pads made similarly with mask. Need to re-inforce them to stay bent. Cape, scarf and hood were sewed and then attached together. Due to the weight of the cape I also attached them to the shoulder pieces attached to my torso part. It is a nice and heavy cloak.
Boots were bought at value village, heels were painted dark blue. All fabric for the boot covers were drafted and made. My first experience with boot covers. My only major gripe is that I had known for them to be knee high, and not thigh high. Gloves were sewn as well. I constructed them in the wrong order so I had to hand sew the finger holes. Tiara was sculped, but I recently re-made one that is much better.
I drew out the sword. dad cut it out. I am ashamed and would like to create a better one with more time and details put into it. The only thing I like about the sword is the handle. It's a nice color.
