.Hack //Sign was a precious project for Akatsukisky and I to tackle. It was one of the first animes that I watched entirely, same goes for her. If I may say, its opening in particular played a big part in my interest for the series. This is also how I discovered beloved compositor Yuki Kajiura. ♥
I am really happy with how most of the costume turned out. I worked really hard on the hat especially, I think it's really cute. The only things I wish I had done better were the "skirt", made out of a fabric I just couldn't get to dye, even after three dye baths :( and the staff. To be exact, my boyfriend made it mostly. It was our first big experiment with worbla, and although the material is pretty amazing, neither our skills nor tools weren't. Plus, it was finished last minute... (This was the worst case of last minute EVER, probably.) This is why it was finished on the morning of the convention, at 8am, the time at which my boyfriend went to bed on the day I was supposed to bring this costume to the masquerade. I left home around 10h30 that same morning, staff in hand. HAHAHA. OOF.
I love being emo for characters since I'm such a happy person normally ;) Tsukasa's a cutie pie.
