I based the jacket pattern off of a previously altered inexpensive poly Scout Jacket using a lightweight denim. I also used the painted on Scout insignias as an embroidery pattern to hand embroider all four, including the big symbol on the back, which I then cut out from the old jacket and stitched on to the new one. The belting and skirt were bought, but I'm planning on making them both from scratch soon!

My gear was made from foamcore, Smart Water Bottles, craft foam, styrofoam, and some piping from the plumbing section of Home Depot. I'll be posting a tutorial in the upcoming weeks on how I made my particular gear on my website!
