I put this costume together in around two weeks prior to Magfest 2015. Over all it was the simplest, and least stressful costume I've ever created, despite being one of the more detailed. I'm still a total novice at the hobby after nearly three years in it, but I really enjoyed learning a few new techniques for Malon. Ultimately I'd like to get a different wig, as I grossly misjudged my abilities in styling bangs in a bang-less wig, and I wouldn't mind redoing the skirt to be neater. I couldn't have put this costume together without the help of several of my friends who assisted me with everything from the BEAUTIFUL Bowser brooch (a gift from a non-cosplaying but super crafty friend) to paint work, to letting me borrow elf ears for the con weekend. I had a lot of fun talking to and taking pictures with various Links etc throughout the saturday of the con and I can't wait to wear her again!
