This costume was made as part of my Darkstalkers duo with FoxxyLady. We both have body types that matches Lilith and Morrigan so we thought that cosplaying these characters would be a good idea (and it was) ! Darkstalkers games are my favorite fighting games. I think that the characters, music, backgrounds and the general theme of the series are really inspiring and well executed!

Wings:
The base of the back wings are made with several metal coat hangers that we welded together. Then we used electrical tape to harden their shape and added the fabric and scales. The scales are made out of tiny craft foam rectangles and the claws are made out of model magic.

The head wings are mostly made with model magic, hot glue and fabric. It has a wire base insidde that holds the shape.

Leotard:
To make the pattern, we wrapped ourselves in cellophane + ductape to have the shape of our bodies to create the leotard. We choose a vinyl fabric that would strech well for it. The sleeves are small feather-shaped layers of fabric sewn together and attached to the leotard.

Pantyhose:
I made a bat stencil by hand and used it to paint the design on the pantyhose with some fabric paint.

Boots:
The boots were bought on etsy then I trimmed the edges to match the exact shape of Lilith's boots.
