Everything was made by me, first of all.
The shoes were painted with leather paints to mimic his red and green shoes, down to the gold details on both and the gold designs on the green shoe.
The bracers were made with EVA foam and foam insulation tubing that was cut down the middle and painted gold. The non-gold portions of the bracers are covered with the same burgundy fabric as the underside of the pants panels and the wrap around his waist (which is accurate to his design).
Pants were made with a red brocade fabric for one leg and green satin for the other, that was painted with yellow fabric paint and hand made stencils to mimic the pattern on his pants. My bf helped a lot with this part because it was mostly grunt work of painting several coats of white fabric paint and then several coats of yellow fabric paint over 2 or so yards of fabric, and then peeling off the stencils which became too adhered to the fabric, by heating them individually with a hair dryer and then carefully peeling/picking them off with an X-acto knife @.@
Pant panels are burgundy on the underside and yellow-gold brocade satin on the other. The gold details on the pattern are hand cut gold vinyl iron-on transfers.
Greaves are EVA foam.
Top is a qipao inspired halter made from a heavily altered qipao dress pattern, made with the same yellow-gold brocade satin as the pant panels, with green trim and fake closures.
Wig is Arda Wigs Tauriel in black. The bulk of the underside near the neckline was cut and the rest was braided.
And angry eyebrows. Can't be Feng without angry eyebrows.
The non-final total cost (there are some things I forgot to add in later, so I will add them in at some point and update) is $325+ USD.
