This was my first real cosplay, debuted at Shadocon in 2010. I purchased the base metallic blue suit from NawtyFoxx on ebay and it held up really well. I used black piping to add the zero suit lines to the costumes, but add texture as well. I didn't want them to just be drawn on. The emblems were done in pink puff paint with an inner layer of metallic pink Jacquard paint.

The boots I already owned, but painted metallic blue with Jacquard paint. (I can't recommend this paint enough. It doesn't crack or peel off when washed or folded or going through movement. I use it for anything I can). The gloves were white opera length gloves that were soaked in the same metallic blue paint as a dye, and topped with piping so they integrated into the costume.

For my first gun I just used a painted Nerf gun. Once I got better at prop making, I created a more accurate foam gun from layers of pink foam.
