Hawkgirl took me 2 1/2 months to make. I'm used to projects that have more sewing in them than construction of "prop" like pieces. There are ares of her I would like to improve but I think for someone who is still considered a beginner it's pretty good.

Ferrari in Fire Orange from Arda-Wigs
1 yard yellow and red spandex (each)
1/2 yard black spandex
Craft foam (for belt buckle and helmet)
14 gauge wire (for wings)
Flannel (for wings)
Duct tape (wings)
Polyethylene foam (wings)
Large smooth styrofoam ball (mace)
8 styrofoam cones
Super silver spraypaint (mace and belt buckle)
Dowel
Vinyl (mace)
Black, bronze and slate grey acrylic paint
