This has been one of my dream costumes for a very long time and it took a lot of hard work!
Nearly everything was handmade and I tried out a lot of techniques that I probably would not have thought of before. The Belladonna staff is probably my favorite part about the entire costume, as it was the first time I ever made an entirely wood prop. All the detailing on the skirt and obi were hand-painted, the sleeves were my first attempt at gradient-dyeing and a good portion of the jewelry and beads on the costume were hand-sculpted.
