When I was invited to join a Hawkguy cosplay group, I decided to do the easiest (identifiable) version of Kate possible. Although most of the costume is purchased pieces, I did a lot of customization work on the shirt. In that regard, I have some notes on my colour choices: due to the highly stylized nature of all the Hawkeye covers, I gave myself quite a bit of leeway in interpretation, taking my cues from colours used in the actual comic. Kate always wears a minimum of one article of purple clothing so I made the sleeves and collar of my shirt in a nice eggplant hue; and the aviators in all panels of the comic pages are purple, so that's what I bought instead of red. I've added splashes of colour to my props too, like the arrow fletching.
