"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Poor Hanyuu.
Hanyuu was one of my first cosplays, and I quickly learned that I did not like pleating things. Sure, pleating the crotch of a huge pair of pants without a pattern is different from making a skirt or something, but still.
The wig is from CosplayDNA on eBay and was originally very curly, but I straightened her a bit so that she'd be more wavey than anything. The horns aren't done yet, but I don't know when I'll be able to finish them, so I do consider the costume finished for now. The white shirt is cotton, and the pink shirt and sleeves are a cotton/polyester blend. The ribbon is just stitched on. The hakama are made of wrinklease, which actually wrinkles with ease, and the boards are made of thick, sturdy cardboard. The shoes are currently painted flip-flops.
