After a few wears, I was getting frustrated with my first version of Rei; things were pulling in weird places, not laying right, and just giving me problems. I was so in love with the character and so inspired by my friends Amyn the Outcast and Koalois that I decided to re-make it!

Rei 2.0 is now one of my favorite costumes. I pulled out all the stops and bought materials for the texture, not just the color; I deviated from the design in a few choice places (white pants = no thank you), and I added a few embellishments. I am so happy with the result, and it's inspired me to be more adventurous in my future cosplays!
