Nausicaa was my first Ghibli film. I fell in love with the story line and with Nausicaa immediately. When it was decided that I was going to my first Anime Convention I decided to cosplay Nausicaa. I improvised all the patterns and used my sewing machine for the first time! The tunic is made from blue crushed velvet and the pants are made from a mystery fabric o_O For my first costume it turned out all right. I have some great plans to redo this costume in the future which may or may not include a very large ohm to go with it :P
