Mokona is such a cute little character! It appears in so many Clamp series that I couldn't decide on which Mokona to do! I decided to just to a generic Mokona that could fit in any of the Clamp series :) I decided to mix two styles together: lolita and gijinka. There isn't too much lolita going on here, not like in my first designs of this costume. There is just enough lace to be flirty and girly. I'm sure Mokona wouldn't mind it at all! The gloves were the most interesting thing to make because I drafted the pattern from scratch. It took me six tries to get it to work and even then the gloves are loose on my hands.
