Eternal Sailor Saturn was made for a group.

Shmuberry and GebGeb Cosplay asked me to be the little Hotaru for two reasons:

1-They needed one
2-Sailor Saturn has always been in my to do list

In fact, when I was young, Sailor Moon was my favorite show and Saturn, my favorite senshi. I always loved her. She was the dark one, with super badass power (destroying a planet at the cost of your life? op).

To make this costume, I had to follow instructions posted by our leader. We had to buy all the same type of fabric, the same patern, the same jewels...but it endend up being a very fun cosplay to work on. Poofy plade skirt all the way!!!

The staff was home made (yes, yes). It was made out of wood. All of it. It was carved according to manga/anime references, then sanded and spray painted. The blade was hand painted to give it a little shadding. I am very proud of that weapon and the quality of the finition.

Saddly, because Im a potato, I couldnt quite finish her in time for the group shoot. So I did a solo shoot a few days later....but I plan on wearing it again so I can be reunited with the rest of the senshis.
