I made this costume for World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya Japan 2017 because of course I love Sailor Moon and also because at the time I was 4 months pregnant and needed a easy to wear dress that didnt hug my stomach. For Serenity, I used costume sating for the base and then layered tulle on the dress, sewing in LED lights on the bottom hem for added effect during our night photoshoots. All embelishments were bought from Daiso and sewn on by hand. The wig was bought prestyled on ebay. I absolutely adore this dress and will wear it many more times in the future! It turned out perfect!
