Debuted at Anime Boston 2011.
Jacket:
The jacket was a simple jacket pattern and I used the deepest red colored fabric I could find. I basically made a jacket base and added everything after. I took out the sleeves a tiny bit and sewed the shoulder strappy things into the sleeves and then buttoned it in place. The pockets were kind of ad-libbed and added after I took the top in. For the next a made a high color and then made the square clasp separately after hemming it and making a ton of button holes. Overall there are 12 buttons in the top which was a lot of trial and error since I had never sewn button holes or buttons before. The patches were all bought online.
Blood Arm
The original versions of the blood arm was one I wore like a glove. I tried making the frame out of wire and sadly it didn’t last long at all. The improved arm was made out of plywood and the manga was used as a reference for the shape. A handle was attached and I essential carried it like a shield. I made a simple long back glove for when I didn’t want to wear the huge arm.
Contacts, wig,, nylons, boots, and teeth:
The teeth are by scarecrow inc and they are perfectly modeled to my teeth. I absolutely adore them they pop and in an out so easily. The wig was bought on ebay and came prestyled. The contacts are circle lenses from pinky paradise. The Nylons are just tights I hacked apart and the boots are your standard combat boots.
I think that’s everything I hope you like it : )
