Ever since I was a little girl, dressing up as Sailor Moon has been a dream. I used to do my hair like hers (badly), and had my own crummy construction paper tiara! I felt the sailor scout fuku was just a little tricky for me and I wanted to wait until I felt more confident about making it....So I settled on the next best thing!

The dress is composed of an under-layer of bridal satin, with three (HUGE) circles of chiffon. Each layer of chiffon is lettuce hemmed. The dress is actually in two pieces, the skirt portion and the bodice portion which laces up the back. The top is boned with steel boning, and hand beaded with pearls, crystals and wooden rings (which have been painted)
