I wanted to make something that was super special and a one of a kind dress. I recently had some major dental work done and wanted to show off the new teeth with a new dress. Since it was a new start with me (have had a bad smile for many years) I wanted to think of myself as a new star being born, so bright and full of light.

SO this was a long progress. I spent 4 hours a day for 5 days embroidering the constellations on the skirt of the dress. Even more time placing every crystal on the constellations. Also made all the stars! But the hardest part was adding the lace. Oh man! that was a first for me and knowing myself really well(i think I do) it will not be the last.
