We completed this costume for MetroCon 2013. For the pants, all the designs are painted on white poplin and sewn onto the blue satin. I made the tassels by cutting yarn into 4 inch pieces and first fabric gluing it to the material before sewing it on. I made one picture for the tails and then cut that into 4 pieces after sewing it to the satin. This whole process took at least 40 hours from start to finish. Overall these pants were pretty inexpensive, they just took a lot of time.

The breastplate base is made from a veg tan leather side, lined with suede and painted with gold acrylic. The dark brown on the back is oil tan leather and all the embellishments are made with Worbla.
