This costume was surprisingly difficult. Soul Calibur characters have like, no references what so ever, and the ones that you find are all so different from each other. I managed to get lucky and find a few screen caps.
The costume looks shiny in the game-- she prolly wears silk. I went with a Polyester Sateen that wasn't too shiny, didn't fray much and was pretty easy to work with. All of the trim is brocade, and was hand rolled, cut, ironed and sewn on. The costume is fully lined in both the shirt and the skirt with gold brocade. I patterned all the pieces myself. The collar had craft foam sewn into it to make it stand straight.
The flowers on the skirt were the result of two weeks of painting with fabric paints. It took forever to get the proper colors and make it look good.
The wig is a brown wig and a clip-in ponytail. I was lucky that I found to pieces that really matched well. There's some green trim and flowers glued into it.
The boots are rain boots that I hacked to pieces and covered in my left over fabric. Craft foam details, and voila.
The pole-arm is PVC, Cardboard and resin and paper mache balls. It's soon to be replaced.
