This cosplay was the first time I ever created a costume by myself. It was definitely a challenge, but a good challenge non the less. I am very satisified with the final product. I was deciding on a cosplay for Dragon-con and loved Sucker Punch and knew it would take off pretty well at Dragon-con. So I decided I would cosplay Babydoll because I felt I look most like her and the outfit looked easier to make then many of the other characters. I had 3 weeks to work on it since I was away from home before then and don't owe a sewing machine or have fund to buy one. I then set out and I was working on the cosplay literally until the day before the con and the morning I was leaving for the con. I then finished the leather working the night before/early morning of the con itself. I wish I wasn't working on the holster the last minute, but you have to do what you have to right? I have to say this is my skimpiest costume so far.. XP It was definitely a hit at Dragon-con which made me really happy. I had so many people that wanted to take pictures! There was one point I just stood there for a whole minute with like 20 photographers around me, it was crazy! It was definitely an experience! And I had a couple of people come up to me to tell me I looked just like her, so that made me extremely happy! And I was so glad I was able to do a photo shoot with Micheal from Emerald Coast Cosplay. He always does amazing shots! And I was happy we found the location we did! I had heard about it and we found it right before they were closing the location and would be closed for the rest of Dragon-con. Score! In the future I want to get more photos of Babydoll, that's for sure!
