The skirt alone has 7 different layers to it. The first layer is a full skirt, then buttoned to it is the front three layers which I have hand ruffled the ribbon. Then buttoned ontop of that layer is three more layers that form the back. And on top of all of this is two 'wing' like layers on the back of the dress. The bodice is fully lined and boned. The rope detailing was carefully placed and sewn down.

The crown is made from craft foam and formed onto a headband.
