I originally made a Ty Lee costume three years ago for Fan Expo 2012 and being able to finally remake it was amazing. The project really helped me push to use skills I've learned over the last three years just so I could see and gauge how my costuming/sewing has improved and what still needs work (Sleeves... I will always need to work on sleeves...). This costume/character probably has some of the most sentimental value to me as well -- While wearing her I met some of my closest cosplay friends and a few of us are still friends and do a ton of cosplays together. Gonna have lots of sappy posts about this costume <3
