I had a lot of materials leftover from making Super Sailor Moon and I’ve been wanting to try making a swimsuit, so I figured why not make Rei’s? I really loved the Petit EVA line of figures that were popular a couple of years ago, with this set and the Yukata Festival set being my favorites. I’ve wanted to cosplay Rei since middle school and with the long-delayed final rebuild film finally being released this year, I figured it was time to crank out an Evangelion costume! This was a great learning experience for me, and I hope to make Mari’s swimsuit in the future too!
