Being the fan of old school fantasy shoujo that I am with series such as Magic Knight Rayearth and The Vision of Escaflowne, it was only in a matter of time that I’d watch Fushigi Yuugi. Surprisingly, the series had been on my to read/watch list since I was 10, so as a part of my New Year’s resolution, I finally started the series and fell in love with it right away! I had a feeling that I would end up cosplaying from the series before I even watched it since I was already attracted to the detailed art style that I had seen in promo/VHS/DVD/illustrations! Nuriko quickly became my favorite, thanks to their beauty, grace, strength, as well as being unafraid of speaking their mind. (also, I *love* their English dub voice actress so much! ❤ )
