When I was in elementary school, Cardcaptor Sakura was one of my favorite manga series (as well as anime). Sakura has so many beautiful costumes, but the 3rd opening dress has always stood out among the rest for me. (plus, the song was performed by the Maaya Sakamoto) I tried to make the dress back in 6th grade out of felt, but quickly quit. With the 20th anniversary beginning in 2016, as well as going back and re-watching the anime, I gave in and decided to make this dream costume of mine! This is one of my most comfy costumes and I enjoy the flowy feel of the dress! I got a bit teary eyed the first time I put the whole costume on since this is my first costume almost entirely made by me, as well as being a dream costume of mine.
