Sailor Jupiter made for Sakuracon skit contest in which we did a Sailor Moon dance. Love this costume because it's so easy to wear!

Cost ~40 Time ~40+hrs

Costume made entirely by me. Leather shoes found at thrift store and spray painted green. I periodically have to reapply but not as often as you would think! Holes for laces punched using leather punch. Leotard bought at my local dance store. Skirt and collar made from satin, lines on collar sewed on thin ribbon. Pattern for skirt drafted by me, just a simple circle with the middle cut out, worked really well! Attached to leotard using snaps. Hip and arm rolls made from stretch t-shirt like fabric. Gloves bought and modified. Poofyness in hip and arm rolls achieved by using green foam from fabric store and hand-stitching between.

Belt made by me from beads found at Michael's, and a silk rose stuffed into a glitter bouncy ball that I removed the glitter and water from.

Broach bought online. Bows made by me using satin and interfacing. No interfacing on the trailing parts so they would flow better.
