The costume is incredibly simple, described as having "a plague doctor mask, an offbrand snuggie, and stilts", the parts were easy enough to put together. The snuggie and stilts are borrowed, the letter is just paper with a wax seal and the Night Vale logo drawn on, the main piece that i'm proud of is the plague doctor mask.

I made it for a class in the fall semester, the base is made of wire and thermoplastic. Then I used paper mache and spackling to smooth the surface. The eyes are old rave goggles, harvested and placed in before I spackled to set them in, then I painted the entire piece and added painted googly eyes for the "bolts" plus elastic to secure it.

This was a costume that, when I heard the episode I thought would be incredibly fun to cosplay. Described as wearing a "plague doctor mask, an offbrand snuggie, and stilts" I knew it had to happen. Luckily enough at Metrocon 2014 I had a friend who had stilts, so here we are!
