I've been working a lot on my Sakura cosplay. It's nearly done! I'm so excited!!

           The first piece to be finishsed was the bouse. I actually used this with a lolita inspired dress I used as a costume for my Acting class final Student Showcase. I finally sat down and made the bow for the costume. So now the outfit is really coming together! The petticoat doesn't quiet give the volume I was hoping for, but it works. I had some problems making it, a lot more than I usually have making them. So, all things considering, it didn't come out too bad. I've been needing a shorter petticoat anyways.

   I also finally sat down and styled the wig. The one I got was much too long, so I had to cut off quiet a bit. But I think I did a pretty okay job. Also got the hat made tonight! It's gonna be fun trying to get it to sit right, but the hat fits fine. I could wear it easily whenever. I just gotta watch for the bangs on the wig, so bobbi-pins and maybe a comb or clips....

But that's what I've got of my Sakura so far!! I just gotta make and attach the wings, and the outfit will be done! Although I need to find a pair of small white gloves.... Then I just need to get the supplies for my Kuro-plush and the last few things for the magic wand! I already have one of the original American Clow Card decks!! I've had it for years and I've taken very good care of it! Then it'll be done!!!
